COLLECTION & USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
FutureBright Insurance does not collect personal information about you unless you order literature by mail or through downloads, send an email message to admin@futurebright.ca, enrol into a specific service. It is recommended that you send email messages to admin@futurebright.ca. Copies of these messages will be ratined and the information provided by you will only be used to respond to your inquiry and to provide you with better customer service.
Typically information is collected, used and, if necessary, disclosed by us to process requests to obtain FutureBright's related insurance products. Certain employees, agents, brokers and producers will be provided with information about an insured in order to serve that insured’s needs and provide the insured with information regarding specific products. These persons are instructed by FutureBright Insurance to use strict standards of care in handling the personal, confidential information of Financial Insurance’s insureds. The importance of protecting your information has been conveyed to FutureBright employees, and they are required to adhere to stringent policies and procedures relating to the safeguarding of your information. Electronic, physical, and procedural safeguards have been implemented in order to efficiently protect your information. Employees, agents, brokers and producers who do not conform to FutureBright Insurance’s confidentiality rules are subject to disciplinary and/or contractual sanctions that include dismissal.
Individuals may request to access and correct personal information in our possession. An individual may make this request by writing to our Privacy Officer at the address set out below. However, FutureBright Insurance relies on individuals to disclose all material information to us and to inform us of any changes, we do not warrant that the information we collect and use is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.

Request for Products or Services: FutureBright Insurance’s policy is to limit access to customer information to those who need it to serve customers' insurance needs. FutureBright Insurance obtains most of its information about you directly from you. Depending on the type of product or service requested by you, FutureBright Insurance may require your name, address and additional identification. Moreover, in certain jurisdictions, your social insurance/social
security number may be required for products which earn investment income, in order to comply with the presiding revenue authority's income reporting requirements. Providing your social insurance/social security number is optional and will only be used for verification purposes to ensure your account privacy and will enable FutureBright Insurance to keep your information separate from that of other customers with a similar name. FutureBright Insurance does not transmit or sell any personal information collected through its web site to any non-affiliated third parties except its producers, agents and brokers. You acknowledge and agree that FutureBright Insurance shall not be responsible for any damages you may suffer as a result of the transmission of confidential or sensitive information over the Internet, and that all such communications will be at your own risk. If you are concerned about the security of your communication or transmission, you are encouraged to correspond with FutureBright Insurance through regular postal service or to speak directly to a representative over the telephone. Procurement of Information and Policies: Upon request, FutureBright Insurance will grant you access to information related to existence, use and disclosure of your personal information. If you believe the information is incorrect or incomplete and want to challenge its accuracy, you may request to have it amended.
